Report: Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd spotted with other AC/DC members in Vancouver, Canada

Gie Knaeps/Getty ImagesRumors are swirling that longtime AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson and drummer Phil Rudd are rejoining the band, after the two rockers were photographed together this week outside of the same Vancouver, Canada, studio where the group recorded its last three albums.

The photo, which was shared by Vancouver newspaper The Georgia Straight's website, shows Johnson and Rudd on a deck located at The Warehouse Studio. According to the paper, the pic was snapped by a guy named Glenn Slavens, whose friend Crystal Lambert lives across the street from the studio.

Slavens and Lambert also provided the Vancouver music blog Ear of Newt with a photo taken this week of founding AC/DC guitarist Angus Young and the band's current rhythm guitarist, Stevie Young, together on the same deck.

Johnson and Rudd both are featured on AC/DC's latest album, 2014's Rock or Bust, but the two musicians were replaced since then for separate reasons.

Prior to the 2015-2016 tour in support of Rock or Bust, Rudd was arrested on charges of attempting to procure a murder, threatening to kill and drug possession. Ex-AC/DC drummer Chris Slade was brought in to replace Rudd on the trek, while he was sentenced to house arrest in conjunction with the two lesser charges. The "attempting to procure a murder" charge had been dropped.

As for Johnson, he was diagnosed with serious hearing problems during the Rock or Bust tour and a series of early 2016 dates had to be postponed. The band then hired Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose to take Brian's place for the remainder of the trek, which wound down in September 2016.

Since the tour ended, the future of AC/DC has been a question mark. Perhaps fans will have an answer soon.
