Mumford & Sons gave their fans something to "Believe" in during their show at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.
Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis joined the "Little Lion Man" outfit onstage to perform the Apple TV series' theme song, which was co-written and performed by Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford.
Footage of the rendition was posted to Mumford & Sons' Instagram Story.
Mumford & Sons also have a song called "Believe" that, despite that word's prevalence in the show, has nothing to do with Ted Lasso, having been released five years before the series' premiere in 2020. However, according to Setlist.fm, the MSG set featured "Believe" performed right before the Ted Lasso theme.
Mumford & Sons are currently touring the U.S. in support of their new album, Prizefighter, which continues with two more shows at MSG taking place Wednesday and Thursday.
In the meantime, we await the review of MSG night one from Trent Crimm, The Independent.
